The Town of Indian River Shores holds elections for council members on Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even years. The Next Municipal Election for the Town of Indian River Shores will be November 2026:
Regular elections for the office of Town Councilmember shall be held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November of even years. Each candidate for Town Councilmember shall run Town-wide. The candidates receiving a plurality of the votes cast for that particular office shall be elected.
Such written notice shall be filed with the Town Clerk/Filing Officer between noon, on the first day after the regular Town Council meeting in April until noon on the first day after the regular Town Council meeting in July in the same year as the election is held.
